After causing disruption in the telecom industry, Reliance Jio hasn’t failed to cease any moment in order to ensure it brings something new to the table every time. Its value-for-money offers have already waged a data war with other network which has prompted its rivals to slash down their data prices as well.
Reliance Jio’s Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer were already the talk of the town. However, the Summer Surprise scheme was stopped after TRAI order. It launched Dhan Dhana Dhan offer which provided unbelievable data for three months.

Reliance Jio is a year-long membership?
At the time of announcement of Jio Prime Subscription, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, mentioned that the subscribers of Jio Prime who enrolled for Rs. 99 will get amazing offers and additional benefits around the year. If you however, have subscribed to Jio Prime in the month of April may not get membership for a year. The membership will expire on 31 March 2018 and may cost extra next time.
Are you getting 1GB data per day even after recharging with Rs. 509 pack?
Jio was offering 1GB of data under its Happy New Year scheme since January. Later it introduced Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan which offered 2GB of data with recharge of Rs.499 and Rs.509, respectively.
But there are few people who are still getting 1GB of data after signing up with the latter offer mid-April or afterwards. As explained by Reliance Jio Customer Care, this might be because of the reason those who purchased recharge packs and Jio Prime subscription later in the month of April, have not yet migrated from Happy New Year offer.
Users can check their connections by opening the MyJio App and going to the My Plan section or can log in to Jio website and checking My Plans tab to see their active plan.
When do you have to recharge next if you’re a Summer Surprise member?
After enrolling for Rs.99 for Jio Prime membership plan, users have to purchase a monthly rental pack of Rs.303 under Summer Surprise offer. After the subscription, Jio will get free data for next three months and exempting them from three recharge cycles. Lets suppose, if you availed the Rs.303 pack in the month of April then you will get free data till July. Rs. 303 recharge will have an impact in the month of July. The next recharge will be done in August.
How to continue access to Jio services if you’ve not bought a recharge so far?
Jio has already started the process of disconnecting numbers who have not bought a single recharge so far. If you are still getting services then you might be on the grace period. Then you have the option of option to become a Jio Prime member and can get a recharge of Rs.303 or lower and can avail to the services.
However, if your number has already been deactivated, then you can go to nearest Jio Store and request it to be reactivated.
Is Jio Prime necessary to use Jio apps?
Although Reliance Jio announced that the Jio apps will be free for customer till 31 December 2017 under Jio Happy New Offer. According to the official website, there has been an extension of three months, ie till 31 March 2018, to continue the subscription of Jio Apps. However, Jio Prime users need to get a recharge of Rs.303 before to access services.
However, Non-Prime users who have got a recharge of Rs.149 or lower do not have a guarantee of the apps subscription. They might avail the subscription as of now but the company can choose to end it any time.
